Lukashenka instructed to start oil supplies to Belarus through the Baltic countries

President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko instructed the government to begin supplying oil to the country through the ports of the Baltic countries, saying that in return, they could have received cheaper oil products from it.
“I have set the task a long time ago, and we need to solve it: open an alternative oil supply through the Baltic ports,” Lukashenka said. According to the President of Belarus, "if the Lithuanians do not agree, (it’s necessary - ed.) To agree with the Latvians and buy this oil."
“To process at the Novopolotsk oil refinery and to supply the Baltic republics,” Lukashenka continued, noting that it would be cheaper for the Baltic countries than now when they buy oil products at world prices.
