Demand for Apple products is declining

Apple has warned suppliers of components for its products that the demand for iPhone smartphones is declining. As informs CNN, Apple informed suppliers about reduction of manufacture of components for the devices approximately on 20%. This suggests that the company recognizes the reduced demand for devices for its production, the material says. A year ago, the corporation ordered from its suppliers the components needed to produce about 100 million smartphones, including the iPhone 8, the iPhone 8 Plus and the iPhone X. This year, Apple ordered components for the production of only 80 million gadgets. As reported by CNN, the company's investors have previously expressed concern about the decline in iPhone sales in the world. During the first quarter of this year, Apple sold 52.2 million smartphones. Analysts predicted that this figure will be more than 53 million devices. On Friday, Apple shares fell 2%.
